Wild about Wakulla Week is a celebration of Wakulla County, the “Natural Place to Be”. The week held in the early spring highlights the heritage and natural beauty of Wakulla County. The 2014 Wild About Wakulla Week, April 11-20 begins with a Friday evening event followed with the kick-off Saturday morning of the Sopchoppy Worm Gruntin' Festival which takes place in the streets of historic Downtown Sopchoppy on April 12. Varied events and tours take place throughout our various communities through the week The Wakulla Wildlife Festival will be held at Wakulla Springs State Park, April 19, 2013.
