2015 Wakulla Wildlife Festival
About the Festival
The annual Wakulla Wildlife Festival will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Wakulla Springs State Park. The festival is a celebration of the area’s wildlife and is geared especially for children and the child in everyone. Local music, a Children’s Art Show, children's activities, wildlife exhibitors and wildlife tours in a neighborhood family atmosphere make the festival an area favorite. The theme of the 2015 Wakulla Wildlife Festival will be Wings over Wakulla. Apalachee Audubon will be celebrating milestones with additional special tours, presentations and children’s activities.
The beautiful and historic Wakulla Springs Lodge will host music, art and fine food. Beginning at 10:00am and continuing until 6:00pm, local artists will offer creations showcasing the wildlife and heritage of the Big Bend Region.
A $6 per vehicle donation to The Friends of Wakulla Springs supports the shows and programs of the festival.
