WAKULLA SCENIC RIVER TOUR

The beautiful Wakulla River features an incredible wealth of wildlife – birds of prey, wading birds, alligators, turtles, manatees, otters, mullet, bass and bream. The crystalline waters of the 10 mile long river rise from Wakulla Spring, one of the few exclusively spring-fed rivers in this part of Florida. The Wakulla River converges with the greater St. Marks River near their respective ends and flow together into the brackish waters of Apalachee Bay. This river is highly revered especially by paddlers, boaters and other outdoor enthusiasts who sometimes travel great distances to enjoy the natural beauty and rich history of this remarkable waterway.

Board your covered tour boat, the Wakulla Explorer with Capt. Joey Tillman to embark on a jourey of natural wonders. This 2 hour tour will take you north toward the springhead while searching for birds of prey, wading birds, turtles, alligators and manatee in the crystal waters of the spring fed river. Learn about the history of the "Mysterious Waters" while offering excellent photo opportunities. Tour includes a brisk swim stop along the way.  $20 Adults/$10 Children (12 & under), FREE (3 & under). Seating is limited to 18. Advance reservations are recommended.
